History exhibition at the National Museum in Prague

Museums & Showrooms
Ing. Arch Lukáš Brom
Project Description

Creating the long-term exhibition titled "History" at the National Museum in Prague represented a new and unique type of project for us. This exhibition captures the history of the Czech lands in an engaging way, spanning from the 8th century to World War I.
‍One of the biggest challenges was the logistics and handling of large architectural elements within the exhibition, such as the defensive wall of a medieval settlement or a rotunda depicting the arrival of Christianity. The architectural elements and display cases are dominated by black tones and smooth materials, allowing archaeological finds and other historical artifacts to stand out throughout the space.
‍For this project, we used a range of new materials and technologies for processing. We collaborated with AVTG, a specialist in AV technology, architect Lukáš Brom, curators, and other responsible persons from the National Museum. This project allowed us to explore new horizons in exhibition design and provide visitors with a unique experience of Czech history.
